About me

Hi, I’m Markus, but most people know me as Pfahli. The nickname Pfahli originated from a playful version of my last name, “Pfahler.” I’ve grown so fond of it that it has become a central part of my brand, image, and personality.

During my studies, I acquired a wide range of skills necessary for a career in the TV and film industry. Over the course of five months, I gained valuable experience in communication, and honed my skills in sound processing, launching social media campaigns, user interface design, post-production of videos, and photography.

Apprenticeship

Media Design: Digital & Print
Specialisation in Web Development

Carl-Hofer-Schule Karlsruhe
September 2014 – July 2017

During my apprenticeship as a media designer, I gained a thorough understanding of visualizing digital and print products. The practical nature of the apprenticeship allowed me to manage large-scale projects at an advertising agency, including the design and website relaunch for various companies in the medical field and regional projects.

As a result of my hard work and dedication, I was recognized with the award for the best Media Designer in the region by the IHK Karlsruhe upon graduation.

Dual Study

Applied Computer Science

DHBW Karlsruhe
September 2013 – June 2014

During my two semesters studying applied computer science, I acquired practical knowledge in developing software using Java, C++, and PHP. I also learned how to design the structure of databases. However, my greater interest in media design led me to discontinue my studies in favor of an apprenticeship in Media Design.

The media agency 3We has been a constant presence in my professional journey, starting with an apprenticeship in Media Design and continuing throughout my studies. Focusing on medical and regional companies provided me with diverse experiences and allowed me to gain expertise in print, digital and web development.
